Priscilla & Salem are a married couple, both writers, lawyers, and wine lovers. Priscilla and Salem’s love affair with wine started with the famous, at least among Cornellians, wine class at Cornell University, and continued to grow to where a good date night was a vineyard and no trip to Europe would be complete without multiple stops at the vineyards. We hope our adventures, and humor, can help others find their next favorite wine.

One of the many reasons to love wine, it helps with another favorite pastime of ours, singing extra loud at weddings!

FAQs

What is your rating system?

Priscilla: I forced…proposed a rating system I created for us to help us rate our wines in a consistent matter. This system is effective as of March 18, 2023 and may be amended from time to time.

  1. Drain Pour: Oh no, this wine is not your friend. It's a real sourpuss, with flavors that make your taste buds cringe. Pour it down the drain and move on to something better.

  2. Meh: This wine is like a "meh" in a glass. It's not bad, but it's not great either. You might drink it if it's the only thing available, but you wouldn't go out of your way to buy it.

  3. Solid Sipper: This wine is a solid sipper. It's easy to drink and doesn't have any major flaws, but it's not going to blow your socks off either. A good choice for a casual get-together.

  4. Winning Wine: This wine is a winner! It has great flavor, complexity, and balance. It's likely to leave a lasting impression and may even make you feel like a bit of a wine connoisseur.

  5. Holy Grail: This wine is the holy grail of wines. It's exceptional in every way and will make you feel like you've hit the jackpot. You might even start speaking in tongues after taking a sip. This is the stuff that dreams are made of.
